The American and National League rookie of the year will be announced Monday. Mike Trout is the hands-down favorite to win the AL award. He had one of greatest rookie seasons of all-time in 2012. He finished second in the AL in batting average (.326), first in steals (49) and runs (129), third in on-base percentage (.399) and third in slugging percentage (.564). In center field, he robbed four home runs and ranked fifth in the majors with 23 runs saved.
